Carol Ann Stokes

Carol (Turick) Stokes of Allentown, PA, passed from this life on Sunday, May 3, 2015 after a long illness. Born on May 15, 1944 in Canton, Carol was the daughter of Alverta (Neikirk) Turick of New Hartford, CT and the late Russell L. Turick.

In addition to her husband Sterling Stokes, she is survived by three daughters: Sandra (Soucy) Michaud of Winsted, CT; Donna (Soucy) Zarzuela (husband Jose) of Ellicott City, MD; and Pamela (Soucy) Flynn (husband William) of Essex Junction, VT; three granddaughters: Kalyn Michaud of Bristol, CT; and Kira and Audrey Zarzuela of Ellicott City, MD. Carol was predeceased by her brother Russell "Rusty" Turick and will be missed by her sister Barbara (Turick) Utterberg (husband Donald) of Rocky Hill, CT; brothers David Turick (wife Brenda) of Barkhamsted, CT; and Richard Turick (wife Kari) of Canton, CT; and is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carol was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved spending time with family, gardening, painting and drawing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking.

A memorial service will be celebrated Monday, May 11th, 10:00 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton. Burial will follow in the Canton Baptist Cemetery.
