Mary L. Hewel, 86, passed away at Lehigh Valley Hospital's Inpatient Hospice Unit on Feb. 7. Born in Yonkers, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Gertrude (DePlanque) Johnson. She was an elementary school teacher for many years.
Survivors: Son Peter A. Hewel and wife Lisa of Middletown, NY; daughter Audrey Nye of Easton; grandson Paul Ney.
