Khalil Shetayh, 69, of Amar, Syria died Monday, September 1st, 2014 surrounded by his family in Whitehall, PA. He was the husband of Antoinette Hazim for 45 years. He was born in Amar, Syria. The son of Adele Shetayh and the late Daas Shetayh. He enjoyed music and singing was his profession. Full of life, loved by all and part of every celebration.
He was survived by his wife Antoinette, children; son Eddie, daughters; Anne, Audi, Reem and 14 grandchildren. Brothers: George, Samir, Rafat, Rafe and Jamil. Sisters: Rahme, Suha Najwa and Meyada. And his deceased brother Aboud, God rest his soul.
Services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sep. 5 at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown with calling hours from 9 to 11 in the church. Interment following at Laurel Cemetery, Mercy Meal at the Palace Center in East Allentown. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home.
