Keith R. McGovern

Keith McGovern, 63, of Macungie, PA, passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2021. 

Born in New Hyde Park, Long Island NY, Keith was the son of Raymond and Anne Marie McGovern and was raised in Tarrytown, NY. Keith was the loving husband of Ana McGovern for 34 years.

After attending Bridgeport University, he had a lifelong career with Pepsi Cola and later enjoyed retirement. Raising three sons was his loving purpose and a source of great pride. Keith was an avid golfer, loved spending time with family & friends, and enjoyed volunteering at Meals on Wheels. Traveling and exploring with his wife was one of his favorite activities. He was a dedicated Giants fan. Keith was known for being the life of the party and had the ability to befriend anyone he came across. He will be remembered for his enormous heart and ability to love with his entire being. 

In addition to his wife, Keith will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons: Keegan & wife Maura, Kyler, and Kane McGovern, siblings: Raymond “Skip” McGovern, Jr. & wife Becky, Laura Kiss & husband Tommy, Jeff McGovern & wife Linda, Kyle McGovern & wife Anita, and predeceased Pam McGovern; and twelve nieces and nephews. 

Service in celebration of Keith’s life will take place Monday, Nov. 29th from 5-7 p.m. and Tuesday the 30th from 9:30-11 a.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Interment will be at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, NY.  (This is an informal viewing and visitation, no formal services at the funeral home.)
