LeRoy D. Childs

LeRoy D. Childs, 88, of Hanover Township, Lehigh County, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late LeRoy and Mary (Krowitz) Childs. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rosemary (Ruggiero); son William; daughter Tracy Hillias; step daughter Krista Keefer and grandchildren Michael, Autumn, Willow, Lauren, Zane and Lily, and his beloved dog Lexi. He was predeceased by a sister Elizabeth Martucci and son in law Steven Hillias.

Lee proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was employed by Tarkett Inc. for 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, country music and country dancing. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

There will be a calling hour from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Following, there will be a graveside service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown. All are kindly asked to wear a face coveriing and practice social distancing.
