Daniel A. Porter

Daniel Allen Porter, 59, of Cohoes, NY, and formerly of Whitehall, PA, passed away December 20, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Linda A. Porter for the past three years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Roy A. Porter and Jean (Swank) Porter.
He worked at CTDI Communications & Engineering in Schenectady, NY, and prior to that worked as a Security Officer, an EMT, a Paramedic, a registered nurse, and firefighter.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
 
Daniel is survived by his wife Linda (Lezousky) Porter, sister Alice (Porter) Brader and husband Edward; two stepsons Pietr and Jan Langevoort; sister-in-law BethAnn (Lezousky) Musgrove and husband Matt; a nephew Roy Wotring and his wife Kate and their children Timothy and Amelia and many cousins.
 
Services: Viewing at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Directions at www.Allentownfunerals.com.
