Arlene R. Acerra

Arlene R. Acerra, 96, of Allentown died peacefully Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown with family by her side.  She was the wife of the late Dominic (Jockey) Acerra.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Woodward and Hildegard (Gilliard) Miller.
Arlene attended Allentown High School.  She was a member of Our Lady Mount Carmel and of St. Francis of Assisi Churches both in Allentown, Pa.  She worked at Sondra Manufacturing until retiring. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Arlene enjoyed playing pinochle and casino games, loved doing crosswords & reading the newspaper with her coffee, she also adored beautiful flowers and her time talking on the phone, especially with her daughter Judy, and any time she could spend with her family.  The happiness she felt, was the love she had for each and every one of her family members.
Survivors:  Arlene will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Judith, wife of Ronald Anderson of Bath, Pa; Sons, Michael Acerra, husband of Lori, and Anthony Acerra both of Allentown, Pa.  She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.  She will be missed dearly by all who knew her!
