Thomas A. Makhoul, son of Abed and Jacqueline (Essi) Makhoul, passed away Sunday, July 15 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. He was 34. He was born in Allentown and a member of St. George Orthodox Church. He is survived by his parents; a brother Elias Makhoul; 2 sisters Sabah Makhoul and Marianne Lohr and brother-in-law, Bill Lohr, and their families.

When Thomas was not riding around the East Side on his bike, he was lighting up the room with his smile and sense of humor. He enjoyed playing video games, watching his beloved Steelers and old wrestling videos. He loved his family, friends and especially all his younger cousins. There wasn’t a person whose life he didn’t impact by showing how strong and loving he truly was.
 
Services: viewing on Thursday, July 19 starting at 10 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown, with funeral service beginning at 11:00. Interment at Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home of Allentown.
 
The family is collecting donations for the American Heart Association.
