Rahmeh Khouly Hanna
Rahmeh Khouly Hanna, passed away at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg on Saturday, May 6 surrounded by her seven children. She was born in Zawayteena, Syria to Elias and Azeezi (Ghalley) Khouly. Rahmeh was one of four children. At the age of 18 she married Wajih A. Hanna, who preceded her to eternal life after 58 years of marriage.
Survivors: Rahmeh is survived by seven children, Nadia (Faysal) Daher of Allentown; Nina (Bernardo) Minutolo of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Ida (Nakleh) Akari of Allentown; Nahla (Thomas) Somogyi of Raleigh, North Carolina; Nayla (Raymond) Hague of Woodbury, Minnesota; Bashar (Deanna Lyn Crotts) of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and Bushra (David) Fries of Whitehall. She is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Rahmeh was preceded to eternal life by her father, mother and loving bother, Ryad.
Services: Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 10 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown. Funeral service on Friday at 11 a.m. in the church, after which she will be laid to rest at Laurel Cemetery. The family is being served by the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
