Juan C. Uribe
It is with profound sadness that the Uribe family announces the passing of Juan C. Uribe at age 57 at his home in Hatfield, Pa. Juan was born in Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico, son of the late Juan and Catalina Uribe.
Juan was an avid writer, photographer and loved the fine arts and music in all of its forms. Juan loved nature in its purest state. A veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, he loved the Navy and the sea that brought him many adventures. He is a graduate of Temple University with a B.A. degree in English, and received a certified webmaster degree from Berkeley Training Center. He is also a graduate of Montgomery Community College. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his brothers Manuel, Jose Luis and Eduardo; and sisters Blanca Uribe-Barley, Marta Uribe-Mattia, Rosa Uribe and their spouses; his 7 nieces, 7 nephews and 3 great nieces.
Services: viewing on Saturday, May 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Funeral service at 12:00 noon will be followed by military honors.
