Wayne A. Flickinger

Wayne A. "Spider" Flickinger, 83, of Allentown passed away Sunday at Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli. He was the husband of Barbara Ann Flickinger, they were married 56 years last May. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Wayne and Pearl (Updegrove) Flickinger. He worked as a truck mechanic at Mack Trucks for over 33 years. He was a veteran and Boatswain's mate in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Flickinger was a life member of the Cetronia Fire Company and a member of the American Legion, Howard L. Peter Post #576 of Allentown. He and his wife Barbara were car collectors and members of the Lost in the 50's Car Club.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; son Keith A. Flickinger and wife Christina of New Tripoli, son Kris A. Flickinger and wife Jean of Allentown, sister Lana R. Flickinger of Florida; granddaughter Amanda of California and Grandson Kody of Kempton.

Services: memorial at 12 noon Saturday, Oct. 14 with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown followed by burial with military honors at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
