Mary (MarĂa) Doncevic
12/17/2016

Mary (María) Dolores (nee Naveira) Doncevic of Springfield Township, Bucks County went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving husband by her side. She was 69, just shy of her 70th birthday. Mary was born in Fountain Hill, PA and was the daughter of the late Andres and Pura Naveira of Bergondo, Galicia, Spain. She was a 1964 graduate of Liberty High School. In 1972, Mary married her loving and dedicated husband Stephen G. Doncevic. She was a homemaker for 25 years and then worked at To Your Health Natural Foods in Quakertown with wonderful friends for over 15 years. She also served as the Minority Inspector for the Springfield Township voting polls for many years.

Mary loved life and lived it to the fullest. She never let her health hold her back. She enjoyed traveling with her family, especially to Spain and Idaho to visit her son. She greeted everyone with a smile and made friends wherever she went. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be sorely missed by many.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her daughters Selina Doncevic of Alexandria, VA, Marisa Moyer (Derek) of Blooming Glen, PA, and her sons Stephen M. Doncevic (Courtney) of Coopersburg, PA and Peter Doncevic of Victor, ID and her fourlegged buddy, Tank. She also leaves behind her three cherished grandchildren who knew her best as “Abuela”. She was preceded in death by her sister Maria del Carmen and her brother Abelino Naviera.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at Springfield Mennonite Church, 1905 Pleasant View Road in Coopersburg, PA from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Graveside service and interment at 12:30 at the church cemetery, with Father Timothy Hasenecz officiating.
