Steven Rostow

Steven Rostow, 69, of Macungie, passed away Dec. 12 at his home. He was the husband of Laura Rostow, they were married 30 years last August. Born in Brooklyn, he was a son of the late Emanuel and Beatrice (Dortch) Rostow.

 

He is survived by his wife Laura; daughter Ariel Franchak and husband Matthew of Enola, Pa; son Thomas McKee and wife Crystal of Lansdale; grandchildren Hunter & Kalli McKee and Joshua & Sofia Franchak; sisters Bobbie McKenzie and Susan Rostow Jung; Laura's sisters Caroline Peterson and Brooks Mullahy and her brother Gibbs Peterson.

 

Steven worked in food service management for over 20 years at The Wood Company. Prior to that he owned the New London restaurant in Philadelphia and worked for ARA Food Corp. He loved skiing and golf, but his true love, was his family, especially children and grandchildren. With his marriage to Laura he was able to bring two families together as one and was always the consummate host to his guests, graciously making sure they were comfortable and well fed. 

 

Services are private; arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
