Essam Saba, 26, of Allentown, died July 24 as a result of a tragic swimming accident in Berks County. He was born in Damascus, Syria, son of Imad Saba and Souad Al Hadad of Dubai. He had been a student at Lehigh County Community College.
He is survived by his parents; brothers Safwan Saba of Abu Dhabi and Maan Saba of Allentown, and grandfather Salim Saba in Syria.
Services: viewing at 9 a.m. Monday Aug. 1 at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown, followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Interment at Laurel Cemetery. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
