Carolyn D. Rosko

Carolyn Dawn Rosko, 73, of Allentown, Pa. entered into eternal life on July 18, 2016 with her loving husband, Richard Rosko by her side. Carolyn was born on November 24, 1942, in Allentown. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Crouthamel) Miller. Carolyn was a cook for KidsPeace for 18 years. She was a 1961 graduate of Catasauqua High School.

Carolyn is best remembered for her selflessness and generous giving towards others. She delivered for Meals on Wheels, volunteered at the Special Olympics, coached softball, was a member of the Blue Mountain Classics Car Club, The Late Greats Car Club and Lost in the 50s Car Club, acting as a secretary and was a member of the Antique Tractor and Toy Club. Recently, Carolyn was an active member and participant of the St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Allentown where she volunteered for the spring picnic, was a collector, and helped in many church functions. She was given the title "Mother of the Year" by her church this past Mother's day. Carolyn loved antiques, and entered many into the Great Allentown Fair, often winning first prize. Carolyn loved jigsaw puzzles, crosswords and word searches. She also loved children and will be remembered fondly.

Survivors: Carolyn is survived by her husband Richard; sister, Darlene McGonigle companion of Lee Persiani of Northampton, and her brother Daniel Miller of Walnutport. Carolyn is also survived by her son David Hunsberger and spouse, Virginia of Elizabethtown, daughter Sharon Reichenbach of Allentown, daughter Becky Weller and spouse Bob of Kutztown, and son Michael Hunsberger and spouse Cindy of Exeter. Carolyn is survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Arlette Fisher and Shirley Bower, daughter Connie Hunsberger and grandson Matthew Ebert.

Services: There will a calling hour from 9 a.m. -10:30 on Saturday July 23 at St Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1031 Fullerton Avenue, Allentown, followed by a funeral service with Father Anthony and Father Myron officiating. Interment will follow at St Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Allentown, Pa.
