Kasser Makhoul, 79, of Allentown, died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Amlin (Saloum) Makhoul. Born in Mishtayeh, Syria, he was a son of the late Tanous and Farid (Merach) Makhoul. He was a member of St. George Orthodox Church, Allentown.
Survivors: Wife; daughters Mona, Hana, Norma and Wafaa; sons Elias, Tony, Walid and Nabil; 2 brothers and 1 sister in Syria; 2 sisters in Australia; 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Amal.
Services: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown. Calling hours from 9-11 in the church prior to the service. Interment, Laurel Cemetery. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
