Joan LaRue Temos

Joan LaRue Temos, 75, of Palmerton, formerly of Bethlehem, died July 27 at Palmerton Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Albert F. Long, Sr. and LaRue (Paules) Long. Joan was a manager of The Spot Drive-In, Hecktown, for over 25 years, and was well known for her cooking.

Survivors: sons Daniel Temos of New York and Jacob Temos of Palmerton; daughters Donna Jones of Madison, Indiana, Sherry Ritter of New York, and Laura Castellani of Bethlehem; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob G. Temos in 1998.

Services: Remembrance service from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at the Vigilant Fire Company, 110 S. Walnut Street, Slatington. Arrangements are by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home of Allentown.
