Mark Miller, 50, died peacefully from lung cancer on June 14 at Manor Care, Bethlehem. After spending much of his adult life in and out of state psychiatric hospitals, Mark overcame these challenges and successfully lived independently on his own for the last decade. He worked previously at the Allentown Fairgrounds. He loved Chinese food, smoking cigarettes, drinking soda, listening to oldies music, baseball cards, cooking, playing the piano, and dogs. He was a gentle, generous, and friendly man with a good sense of humor. He was supported by staff at the Lehigh Valley Assertive Community Treatment program. Heartland Hospice helped Mark and his sisters tremendously in his final months.
Survivors: Sisters Beth Grimm of Chamisal, New Mexico and Shari Miller of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Brother-in-law David Grimm; Nephews & Nieces: Jake and Emmy Grimm, Noah and Riley Miller Johnson; various cousins from both sides of the family.
