Angelo A. Gallucci

Angelo Gallucci, 90, of Allentown, died Mar. 29 at Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the companion of Jeanne Schemm. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Rocco Luigi and Carmela (Pizzuto) Gallucci. A graduate of William Allen High School, he worked for Vultee Aircraft, and later as a Layout Operator at Western Electric then AT&T, Allentown for over 35 years. Angelo was a Pioneer after retirement, and loved wood carving, dancing, gardening and international travel. He also loved jazz music, and belonged to the NJ jazz society, the Fugawis and the Sharps and Flats jazz appreciation groups. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Allentown. Mr. Gallucci was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors: companion Jeanne; daughters Lenore Gallucci Foster and husband Wayne of State College, Pa., and Doretta Gallucci and husband Bob Perkins of Lawrenceville, NJ; son James A. Gallucci of Allentown; grandchildren Cristen and Evan A. Foster and Jackson Perkins. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia E. Gallucci in 1991, as well as brothers Frank and Theodore Gallucci and sister Anne Creato.

Services: Viewing beginning 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Apr. 3 at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown followed by funeral service at 11:00. Interment at Our Lady of Mt.
