MARY C. KRUPA
Mary C. Krupa, beloved wife and mother, passed away on May 27th, 2021 at the age of 99, just shy of her 100th birthday.
She was the wife of the late Michael J. Krupa, they were married for 56 years. Born in Reinerton, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Katherine Kramer. Mary was a graduate of Catasauqua High School and also attended Cedar Crest College.
When Mary was in her early 20’s, she worked in the payroll dept for Pangbourne Electric – who was the electrical contractor that wired the Vultee Aircraft plant in Allentown, PA – later to be known as the Mack 5C building. When Pangbourne Electric completed the electrical construction of the Vultee facility, Mary was hired by Consolidated Vultee Aircraft to continue to work in their payroll dept. for 5 years during WWII. Later, after raising her children, she was employed for many years as a Credit Investigator for several large department stores in the Allentown area. Mary was a long time member of St. John the Baptist Church in Northampton, PA. Mary was a wonderfully kind and loving person who was loved and will be greatly missed by all.
