Larry A. Angney, Sr.

Larry A. Angney, Sr., 77, of Coopersburg passed away on Sunday, May 2nd 2021 after a year long battle with cancer. He was the husband of Jean for 57 years, born 2/28/1944 in Allentown. He was the son of the late Annie and Adam Christman, Jr. 

He is survived by his son Brian, his wife Gina and their daughter Gabrielle of Pittsburgh and son Larry II, his wife Kristi and their daughters Zoey, Briell, and Leksi of Center Valley. He is also survived by a sister in law, Kay and Lou Rizzetto; brother in law Robert and Andrea Green, and several nieces and nephews.

One of his latest greatest joys was playing cards with his granddaughters and always had a new joke to tell whenever he would see you. He retired from Mack Trucks after working there 31 years and was active in many union activities. He will also be missed by his dog and grand-dogs and grand-cats. He was active with Emmaus Fire Company #2 and the Lower Milford Fire Co. both as a fireman, ambulance driver and in the social quarters for a total of 58 years. He was a member of the Catholic War Vets in Emmaus, Macungie VFW, Upper Saucon Social Quarters and Mystic Chain in Vera Cruz.

Larry was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and lifetime member of HOG, the Harley Owners Group. His last motorcycle had the words "Uncle Larry" painted on his bike. He most recently enjoyed his classic cars. He will be lovingly remembered in the community as "Uncle Larry".

A memorial picnic will be held at the convenience of the family this summer.
