Barry B. Haney

Barry  B. Haney, 78, of Whitehall passed away February 11th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Lorraine (Abraham) Haney, they were married 58 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Erwin and Ruth (Herring) Haney. Along with his wife, he owned Westgate Fabric Care dry cleaning and Pro Beverage in Whitehall. Prior to that he owned Haney Fundraising.

Barry was a very special person, a wonderful father and husband. He attended Allentown High School and then was in the first graduating class of Louis E. Dieruff High School in 1960, playing baseball in both schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine; son Matthew Haney of Whitehall, brother Richard and wife Barbara of Coopersburg; a sister Madeline and husband Terry Leibenguth of Whitehall. He was predeceased by brothers Ernest and Erwin.

Services: private family service followed by graveside services at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 15th at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
