Anne C. Furst
12/26/2020

Anne Carolyn Furst, 85, of Allentown passed away December 26, at 2:22 AM, which she always claimed was her lucky number. She was the daughter of the late Edward Johnson and Dorothy (Hartranft). She was the wife of the late Frank Furst, Jr. for 52 years.

She worked undercover for many years as telemarketer, Mrs. Donovan, for Lindsay Soft Water Company of Allentown. She was a long-time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Allentown, under her real name.

You can rest easy now, Mom. We did not use your driver’s license picture. Nor did we use the one where you are laughing, head thrown back and mouth wide open. We could have used that one, because that is how most people will remember you---laughing, singing, whistling, having a good time. You charmed and welcomed everyone you met.

You were loving, supportive, self-sacrificing and non-judgemental. You did not push any of us in a direction that you wanted. You only wanted us to find happiness in our own way.

We wish you well on your new journey. Dad, Cindy, Ardy, Nana and Pappy--- a lot of people who loved you are waiting for you. Many more remain here, still loving and remembering you.

Survivors: son Dennis, daughter Amy Suppa (Ralph), son David (Deani), sister Jane Kutz (Bruce), son-in-law Frank Cannon and her tree and shrub consultant, Bob Burns. Grandchildren: Kim, Emily, Michelle, Lindsay (Joe), Anthony (Brie), Ashley (Justin), Matt (Maria), Erika (Melissa), Drew (Maggie), Dylan (Sarah), Logan, Connor and Michael.
