Michele A. "Mickie" Young

Mickie A. Young, 51, of Allentown, passed away Oct. 27 at Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Shirley Young and the late John W. Young. She was a lifetime member of the Fearless Fire Co. and also Salisbury Fire Co. #1, and their ladies auxiliaries. Mickie, appropriately, was an avid collector of Mickey Mouse memorabilia. 

 

She is survived by her mother; brothers Keith Cunningham & wife Debbie of Allentown and Jim Young & companion JoAnne Brown of Salisbury; sisters Cindy Caputo & husband Brian of Salisbury, and Bev Young and spouse Laurie of Allentown; nieces & nephews; and her companion Matthew Neitz of Salisbury. She was predeceased by her father John and brother Tom Cunningham in 1998.

 

Services:  viewing on Wednesday Nov. 2 from 4-6 p.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown with a service at 6:00 p.m.
